About Your Operating System
You're certainly welcome to use your own computer system on any of the CNC machines we sell at ez Router. However, the easiest to use CNC systems will be those that we have set up and tested on your equipment. This rescues our customers from big issues, downtime and frustrations, that really aren't necessary. Massive issues with your operating system can also get costly, should you have to call in a computer tech.
Without an ez Router installed computer system, there is is no guarantee that your CNC router, plasma cutter or any other type of machine we may sell you will work.

Taking the ez Route
ez Router does NOT guarantee - or provide support - any computer that is supplied by the customer.
Bear in mind that your productivity will depend a great deal on the CNC computer operating system... operating, and doing so reliably at all times. With our pre-set up computer system, you have ez Router support whenever you need it.
If you choose to not purchase ez Router's computer system, your computer will have to be a single core processor, preferably Windows XP, and will require at least one 25 pin parallel port and possibly two to accommodate plasma systems and custom built CNC machines.
Quality In = Quality Out
Over the years, ez Router has tested just as many computer setups as we have CNC machine designs and modifications. You won't get outstanding results without the right computer 
operating system. You will also have more problems and downtime when using a computer that wasn't factory setup and tested on your cutting system. We aren't just trying to add on an item to your order. Our goal is to ensure our customers have ease of use, the least amount of downtime and headaches as humanly possible and increased profitability. So, we offer the best possible solution - the ez Router CNC computer system.
